Hmm ... maybe I'm just a digital pack-rat. I have over a terabyte of network storage at home and it's long overdue for an upgrade (only 8 Gig free). Then there's the binders and binders of DVD archives .... The pre-history term was something from the BBC article, and I agree with it's usage. While we might know about the greater events of the past, we don't really know much about the people of the past. How did the average person eke out their life? What kinds of things did people think, do, or say? I'll admit this would be some severe information overload if every human action or interaction was recorded, but it would give future historians a very clear picture of who we were, rather than just "how most of us did things". 60 Gigs is lots?
