“I need a bathroom”
this was the thought
and if I was standing
to knees I’d be brought.

I’m stuck on this highway
it feels like all week
still a few clicks to travel
for the relief I do seek.

Moving quite slowly
offramp nearby
that’s when I see him
with the corner of my eye.

*BAM*

Not paying attention
while on his cell phone
my car was rear-ended
I let out a small moan.

I won’t be finding
relief for a while
though it’s now in sight
at less than a mile.
