To see yourself
with the mind’s eye
and feel as though floating
with clouds in the sky
it’s a wonderous experience
that we should never deny.

This is the peak
at summit we glow
the top of the hierarchy
as per Maslow.

Our goals accomplished
our spirit quite content
we enjoy the brief euphoria
before the feeling is spent.

If only we could hold on to
this feeling so intense
perhaps we’d find better solutions
for our planet so immense.
