Right now prepping my notebook for a possible take-over attempt tomorrow at the office. Scrubbing it of anything that could raise questions.

@jamesinjapan Should have bought a WinMo phone. Instead of playing music, it'd either freeze or reboot. Both are nice and quiet :)

@naomiyaki Nice. I wonder if this can be used over a network with multiple computers searching the same collection of photos ...

@Paul_Hartrick As it is, she gets a little upset when my bill is over 4200円 ... I dunno how I'd explain the iPhone's monthly fee

@Paul_Hartrick I would, but I'd have to conveniently "lose" my relatively new cell phone and simultaneously convince the Mrs. of a data plan

@naomiyaki I'm also looking at stuff on Google ... looks like everyone uses Adobe or some other such tool. Perhaps that's the way to go ...

@naomiyaki Is there a tool out there that'll let you organize by tags and dates or would you need to upload everything to Flickr / Facebook?

@naomiyaki It'd certainly be a decent switch. I organize mine the same way, and it's hundreds of folders. Not easy to find specific pictures

@naomiyaki Wouldn't that take the better part of 6 months to complete? I'd like to do the same, but there are 25,000+ photos spanning 10 yrs

Just received an email from one of the sales people at work. They want to take my notebook for 2 weeks for the new guy ... WTF?

@security4all Perhaps, but other OSes require new software. People have already invested heavily in Windows apps ...

Oh well ... I guess the Mrs. and I will just have to get an Eee Top for video streaming so we don't always need to connect one of our PCs :P

Why does my Aquos TV have a LAN port? Can it stream DivX right from my NAS?

According to my boss, I am not paying resident's tax. Well, WTF? That's going to set me back at least 10万円 if it's true!
